School Days with the Marlins
For many years, the Florida Marlins Baseball Club has been a partner
with Broward County Public Schools. Since they first partnered with the
District, the Florida Marlins have supported and sponsored many events.
And that commitment continued this year as they sponsored School Days
with the Marlins.
On April 3, more than 1,700 students from 13 schools across Broward County
were guests of the Marlins as the home team took on the Philadelphia
Phillies. Students were treated to an afternoon at the ballpark, thanks
to the partnership between the Florida Marlins and Broward County Public
Schools.
