Broward County Public Schools offers a rich selection of benefits (medical, dental, vision, life and disability) for its employees. The Board pays 100% for employee only healthcare. These Benefits are currently valued at approximately $7,826 annually for every benefits eligible employee, with an annual Board expense of approximately $197 million dollars. Benefits eligible employees are also provided with the option to purchase enhanced benefits under dental, life and disability plans.
