Update Regarding Broward County Public Schools Preparation for Hurricane Irma

Broward County Public Schools and District offices will be closed on Thursday, September 7 and Friday, September 8, 2017, as the District and Broward County prepare for Hurricane Irma, which includes the preparation of schools designated as hurricane shelters. The District continues to monitor and prepare for the storm. 
 
BCPS will operate on a normal schedule on Wednesday, September 6, 2017.
 
The District will continue to provide information and updates via a variety of communication channels, including the District website (browardschools.com), robocalls, social media (Twitter @browardschools and on Facebook facebook.com/browardschools), the free BCPS mobile app, BECON-TV and local media. The District will also continue to update its Information Hotline, 754-321-0321, with the latest information.
