The School Board of Broward County, Florida, has approved school opening and closing times for the 2018/19 school year. The opening and closing times were approved during today’s (Tuesday, May 8, 2018) School Board meeting. The approved bell times include changes to one District school site, Wingate Oaks Center. The changes align Wingate Oaks Center’s opening and closing times for K –12 students with its opening and closing times for pre-K/ESE students.
Each year, Broward County Public Schools (BCPS) Student Transportation and Fleet Services Department conducts a review and evaluation of its services to ensure that appropriate resources are in place to meet transportation needs and compensate for student and program growth. The opening and closing times approved by the School Board will go into effect in the 2018/19 school year.
