Menu items featured at the food show include, vegetarian chili, chicken and cheese taquito, veggie fried rice, chicken soft tacos, fiesta cheese omelet, sourdough grilled cheese with turkey bacon, avocado ranch dressing with zucchini rounds, cheese and egg with green chile salsa breakfast burrito, roasted garlic quinoa burger, yuca fries, vegetable pot stickers and more tasty options.
In partnership with BCPS, a Wellness in the Schools (WITS) chef will be on-site providing food demonstrations, while emphasizing the importance of including healthy and fun recipes into student meal plans. WITS is a national nonprofit that teaches students healthy habits to learn and live better.
