Experience Broward Teacher Job Fair – May 22, 2017

Broward County Public Schools (BCPS) will hold its annual Experience Broward Teacher Job Fair on Monday, May 22, 2017. The Job Fair offers site-based hiring by enabling candidates the opportunity to interview with school principals. The District seeks candidates who are committed to high-quality instruction, continuous improvement and ensuring the success of all students.
Prospective candidates must be certified or eligible for certification. Pre-registration is required and the deadline is May 10, 2017. To attend the Experience Broward Teacher Job Fair, interested candidates must visit browardschools.com/teacher and click on “Teacher Job Fair – Apply Now.”
For the upcoming 2017/18 school year, the District will seek to hire 1,500 teachers. Preference will be given to candidates certified or eligible for certification in the following core subject areas:  
  • Elementary Education/Pre-K Primary/Head Start
  • English/Language Arts
  • Exceptional Student Education (Autism Spectrum Disability, Pre-K Disability)
  • Mathematics
  • Media Specialist/Library Science
  • Reading
  • Science (Biology, Chemistry, Earth Space, Physics and middle grades)
  • Social Science
  • Speech Language Pathologist (Master's Level)
