As we count down to the start of school on Monday, August 22, 2016, Broward County Public Schools is issuing frequent updates on What’s New In 2016/17, to keep the community informed about the great work taking place across the District.
 
In What’s in New 2016/17 – Volume 2, highlights include:
  • Expansion of the District’s Debate Initiative;
  • Increasing number of schools offering Dual Language Programs;
  • Launching new opportunities for students to participate in LEEO programs, Advanced Placement Digital Edge programs and Virtual Enterprise International programs;
  • Plus - Celebrity Chef Rudy Poindexter develops new, tasty menu items for students to enjoy in our school cafeterias!
