Every District school has a certified school counselor who can assist with any social/emotional issues your child might be experiencing. School social workers, school psychologists and family counselors are also available for support.
In addition, Broward County Public Schools (BCPS), in partnership with local and community agencies, offers the Broward County Resiliency Center to address immediate needs and provide support for those impacted by the Marjory Stoneman Douglas High School tragedy.
The Broward County Resiliency Center is located at the Pine Trails Park Amphitheater, 10561 Trails End, Parkland, Florida, 33076. The hours of operation are:
• Monday – Friday: Noon to 7 p.m.
• Saturday – Sunday: Noon to 5 p.m.
